OFT1: Goals for online learning
Online Foundations
The Foundations course of living wholeness is teaching the basics of the Christian Wholeness Framework (CWF).
TASK is one of the keys to become an effective counselor: Transformation, Attitude, Skills and Knowledge. The personal Transformation and change of Attitude takes time and requires vulnerability in a group with SAFETY. Skills need to be practiced – best under supervision. Knowledge comes from studying the content of CWF. This can be done by watching teaching videos, reading assignments paired with T-Groups where questions can be asked and viewpoints exchanged.
Knowing an online course has limitations. It can focus on Knowledge, but the other aspects of TASK come through the interaction in the cohort. It is a starting point of the journey of transformation to become an effective counselor with solid Christian foundations.
Modes for Online Foundation
- Online Cohorts: Groups in similar time zones and common language meet in online meeting rooms (Zoom, Teams, etc.) in addition to the knowledge acquisition in the online course
- Local Cohorts: Cohort facilitators organize the cohort on ground with local students. T-Groups are organized in person in the local language
