LearnDash key elements in a course
Organizing Course Content
Intro Page
Every course has an introduction page, where viewers of the website can read about the course and decide if the course is worth their money. This page also shows the Titles of the course outline. It also should describe the time needed to go through the course, quizzes, reading assignments, online/on site meetings, etc. In short tell the future subscriber everything they need to know about the course before signing up.
The course content
The course has two layers of organizing the content: LearnDash calls it Lessons that contains Topics. In LW we can call this differently to match the consistent use of the terms in the currium
Lessons and Topics are like web pages. We can include text, video plug ins, links to reading assignments and other interactive material. Our own creativity is the limit.
The course has different learn steps (e.g. Lesson 1 with 3 Topics, Lesson 2 with 2 Topics, Lesson 3 with 5 Topics). All this Topics are added together (10). A progress bar will show the learner how many of the Topics they have completed.
