PACT II Pastoral & Advanced Counselor Training

This course offers participants training at an advanced pastoral and professional counsellor level (predominantly post graduate). The emphasis is to assist students to grow in understanding and use of the Christian Wholeness Framework (CWF) as a base for a Biblically and psychologically integrative approach for Counseling. Participants are selected on their desire to equip and empower others in the Body of Christ, to meet the many issues that are faced, both in the emerging Church and the wider community. Thus the primary purpose of this course is training those who train others.
The course requires a total commitment of around 300 hours over 12 months. Phase I involves prereading, then a 2 week face to face classroom intensive. Phase II (over 11 months) includes self-directed study, counselling case load, group supervision, reading, an assignment or discussion group, and training others. Phase III concludes the course with another 2 week classroom intensive and examination.

Applications close Nov 15 2019. You will be notified by Dec 15 of your status. Successful applicants will pay a deposit of USD$100 by Dec 30, 2019.
Course cost is USD$500 pp live in, or USD$250 pp living offsite.
Live-in cost covers materials, training fee, accommodation and 2 meals + 2 coffee breaks daily. Offsite cost covers materials, training fee, lunch and 2 breaks a day.
Training is 0900-1700 Monday to Friday each week.
